1.TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE MENTAL HEALTH AND RELIEVE POVERTY,HARDSHIP, AND DISTRESS OF AND AMONG SPOUSES,PARTNERS,FAMILIES,DEPENDANTS AND FRIENDS OF PERSONS WHO HAVE SUFFERED A LEGAL RESTRICTION OF THEIR LIBERTY AND WHO ARE DETAINED IN PRISON BY THE ESTABLISHMENT OF OR MAINTENANCE OF VISITORS RECEPTION CENTRES. 2.THE RELIEF OF POVERTY,ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY.
