Charitable objects
1) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AMONGST MONKS AND NUNS RESIDENT OR FORMERLY RESIDENT IN MONASTERIES AND CONVENTS SITUATED OR FORMERLY SITUATED IN OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE DIOCESE AND IN PARTICULAR AND PRIMARILY FOR MONKS AND NUNS IN SUCH MONASTERIES TO PRAYER AND CONTEMPLATION. 2) THE EDUCATION OF MONKS AND NUNS IN LAW, ACCOUNTANCY, ECONOMICS OF THE AFFAIRS OF THE COMMUNITIES TO WHICH THEY BELONG. 3) THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF CHAPELS USED BY MONKS AND NUNS PROVIDED THAT SUCH CHAPELS ARE USED FOR PUBLIC AS WELL AS PRIVATE WORSHIP. 4) THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE AND CARRYING ON OF RELIGIOUS SERVICES OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IN SUCH CHAPELS AS AFORESAID. 5) THE PROVISION OF OR CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS THE MAINTENANCE, SUPPORT AND STIPENDS OF ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIESTS, TEACHERS OR OTHER OFFICERS MINISTERING TO SUCH MONKS AND NUNS AS AFORESAID. 6) THE MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT (INCLUDING SHELTER AND SUSTENANCE) OF AND THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL AND SURGICAL AID FOR POOR, SICK, INFORM, INVALID OR AGED MONKS AND NUNS AND THE BURIAL OF DECEASED MONKS AND NUNS. 7) TO DO ALL THINGS WHICH ARE NECESSARY FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF THE FOREGOING OBJECTS AND ARE CONDUCIVE TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION.
