Charitable objects
(1) TO PRESERVE AND CONSERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF ENGLAND AND WALES (THE AREA OF BENEFIT) AND OF THE NATION, THE HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTIONAL HERITAGE THAT MAY EXIST IN AND AROUND THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN BUILDINGS (INCLUDING ANY STRUCTURE OR ERECTION, AND IN ANY PART OF A BUILDING AS SO DEFINED) OF PARTICULAR BEAUTY OR HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL OR CONSTRUCTIONAL INTEREST PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THOSE BUILDINGS WHOSE PRESERVATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE REGENERATION OF THEIR LOCALITY; AND (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE TECHNIQUES AND PRACTICE OF BUILDING PRESERVATION AND CONSERVATION ("THE OBJECTS").
