Charitable objects

THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE CAPITAL AND INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND UPON TRUST TO APPLY THE INCOME AND ALL SUCH PART OR PARTS OF THE CAPITAL FOR THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS: TO RELIEVE THE POVERTY, ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF ORPHANED CHILDREN IN AFRICA IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE FINANCING OF PROJECTS WHICH ENCOURAGE SELF RELIANCE AND IMPROVE THEIR CONDITION OF LIFE; TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC LIVING IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND AS TO THE PLIGHT OF ORPHANED CHILDREN LIVING IN AFRICA.
