THE CONSERVATION MAINTENANCE AND PROTECTION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF AREAS AND WATERWAYS IN THE CITIES OF MANCHESTER AND SALFORD INCLUDING CASTLEFIELD AND THE AREAS ADJACENT TO AND CONTIGUOUS WITH CASTLEFIELD AND THE CASTLEFIELD BASIN IN SUCH WAYS AS SHALL BE CHARITABLE AT LAW.
