TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT HEALTH BY: (A) THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT FOR HOSPITALS AND MEDICAL ASSOCIATIONS; (B) THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO THE MACMILLIAN NURSES FUND AND THE ASTHMA SOCIETY SO LONG AS THEY REMAIN CHARITIES AND TO OTHER ORGANISATIONS THAT PROMOTE HEALTH AND PROVIDE CARE AND SUPPORT FOR PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES; (C) TO SUPPORT MEDICAL RESEARCH AND (D) SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE.
