MEMORANDUM AND ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED 8 DECEMBER 1995 AS AMENDED BY SPECIAL RESOLUTIONS DATED 19 DECEMBER 2003, 17 AUGUST 2007 AND 30 SEPTEMBER 2009.
Charitable objects
1) TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE SUFFERING OF ANIMALS AND TO PROMOTE THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF SUFFERING BY ANIMALS, IN RELATION TO AREAS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE USE OF ANIMALS FOR THE PURPOSES OF COMMERCE (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION FOOD AND CLOTHING), ENTERTAINMENT OR EXPERIMENTATION. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC CONCERNING THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF ANIMALS; AND 3) TO CONDUCT OR PROMOTE THE CONDUCT OF RESEARCH (AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH) INTO A) SUBJECTS CONNECTED WITH THE USE AND TREATMENT OF ANIMALS FOR THE PURPOSES OF COMMERCE, ENTERTAINMENT OR EXPERIMENTATION; B) THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF ANIMALS; C) ANIMAL BEHAVIOUR; AND D) THE PRODUCTION, UTILISATION, PREPARATION, PRESERVATION AND DIETETIC EFFECTS OF VEGETARIAN SUBSTANCES FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
