TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, AND IN PARTICULAR TO FURTHER THE PRESERVATION AND ADORNMENT OF ST JOHNS CHURCH, BOREHAM, AND GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF THE CHURCH, ITS ORNAMENTS AND FURNISHINGS, AND ALSO THE GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF THE CHURCHYARD; TO PROMOTE PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE CHURCH, ITS HISTORY AND ITS WORK AND TO SEEK TO JOIN TOGETHER IN A COMMON FELLOWSHIP ALL THOSE WHO LOVE THE CHURCH.
