Activities - how the charity spends its money
A new Gurdwara and Community Centre was completed in 2007/08 - (the Gurdwara started providing religious services from April 2007 and the Community Centre was opened in January 2008 for use by the community for social and religious functions). The site now becomes the focal centre where Sikhs & Non-Sikhs get together to celebrate religious functions and discuss multi faith issues.

Charitable objects
(A) TO ADVANCE THE SIKH RELIGION AMONG SIKHS RESIDING IN BEDFORD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA PARTICULARLY BY THE PROVISION OF A TEMPLE AND BY THE ORGANISATION AND CELEBRATION OF SIKH RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS. (B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF BOTH SIKHS AND NON-SIKHS IN THE SIKH RELIGION AND CULTURE. (3) TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS IN THE SIKH COMMUNITY.
