Charitable objects
1) TO ORGANISE OR PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE ORGANISATION AND PROVISION OF FACILITIES WHICH WILL ENABLE AND ENCOURAGE PUPILS AND STUDENTS AT SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES IN THE TOWN OF ABINGDON AND OUTLYING VILLAGES TO PLAY CRICKET OR OTHER GAMES OR SPORTS AND THEREBY TO ASSIST IN ENSURING THAT DUE ATTENTION IS GIVEN THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH PUPILS AS WELL AS TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND OCCUPATION OF THEIR MINDS. 2) TO ORGANISE OR PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE ORGANISATION OR PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITHIN THE DISTRICT OF ABINGDON WITH THE PRIMARY OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE PERSONS RESIDENT THEREIN WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES.
