[1] TO RELIEVE SICKNESS, INFIRMITY, AND OLD AGE AMONGST PEOPLE LIVING IN HERNE BAY AND SURROUNDING VILLAGES BY PROVIDING A LOCAL BROADCASTING SERVICE FOR HOSPITALS, OLD PERSONS HOMES AND SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS. [2] TO RELIEVE THE BLIND AND PARTIALLY SIDATED BY THE PROVISION OF PRODUCTION AND RECORDING FACILITIES FOR THE HERNE BAY EDITION OF THE KENT TALKING NEWSPAPER FOR THE BLIND AND SUCH OTHER EDITIONS AS MAY BE PRODUCED FROM TIME TO TIME.
