TO RELIEVE PERSONS AT RISK OR FOLLOWING CARDIAC SURGERY WITHIN THE FREEMAN HOSPITAL/NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE CATCHMENT AREA(HEREIN AFTER CALLED THE 'AREA OF BENEFIT') INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR REHABILITATION THERAPY ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL SUCH MATTERS AND PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION OR LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS
