TO PRESERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE TOWNSPEOPLE OF THE TOWN OF CARNFORTH IN THE CITY OF LANCASTER IN THE COUNTY OF LANCASHIRE AND OF THE NATION AT LARGE, WHATEVER OF THE HISTORICAL ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTIONAL HERITAGE AS MAY EXIST IN AN AROUND THE CARNFORTH RAILWAY STATION IN THE TOWN OF CARNFORTH AFORESAID IN THE FORM OF BUILDINGS (INCLUDING ANY PARTICULAR AS DEFINED IN SECTION 3 3 6 (1) OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT (1990) OF PARTICULAR BEAUTY OR HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL OR CONSTRUCTIONAL INTEREST: TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC INTO THE HISTORY, INCLUDING BOTH SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC HISTORY, OF CARNFORTH AND IN PARTICULAR BY THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A VISITOR AND HERITAGE CENTRE.
