IN SELECTING RESIDENTS FOR MERCHANT VENTURERS' ALMSHOUSES PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO MARINERS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS. IN SELECTING RESIDENTS FOR COLSTON'S ALMSHOUSE PREFERENCE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.
