THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS THE RELIEF OF POVERTY OF SINGLE PARENT FAMILIES RESIDING IN PLYMOUTH, WHO ARE IN RECEIPT OF WELFARE BENEFITS AND WHO FIND THEMSELVES IN DIRE FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, BY PROVIDING MONETARY GRANTS TOWARD THE COST OF ESSENTIAL ITEMS SUCH AS FURNITURE, BED & BEDDING, HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS OR APPLIANCES, CARPET, AND SCHOOL UNIFORMS.
