1) PROMOTION OF ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE COUNTY BOROUGH OF NORTHAMPTON AND IN PARTICULAR, THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, FURTHERANCE OF HEALTH, AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, DISTRESS AND SICKNESS. 2) PROMOTION AND ORGANISATION OF CO-OPERATION BETWEEN STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND VOLUNTARY BODIES IN THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ABOVE.
