Until recently, 6 residents could be accommodated in bedsit accommodation. The accommodation has now been converted to 3 larger units. There is no warden service, and residents need to be reasonably self-sufficient. The Almshouse is a listed building.

Charitable objects
(1) THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: (A) THE PROVISION OF HOUSING ACCOMMODATION FOR BENEFICIARIES; (B) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE; (C) THE PROVISION OF EXTRA-CARE ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES FOR BENEFICIARIES, WITH A PREFERENCE FOR RESIDENTS IN THE HOMES; AND (D) THE RELIEF OF PERSONS IN FINANCIAL NEED WITH A PREFERENCE FOR MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AND WHO RESIDE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. WHERE THERE ARE INSUFFICIENT/INAPPROPRIATE APPLICANTS FROM THE AREA OF BENEFIT, THE TRUSTEES MAY CONSIDER OTHERWISE QUALIFIED APPLICANTS RESIDENT IN THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ST ALDATE IN THE CITY OF OXFORD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. (2) THE LAND IDENTIFIED IN PART 1 OF THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME MUST BE RETAINED BY THE TRUSTEES FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY.
