Charitable objects
1. TO PROVIDE AND EQUIP A MEN'S READING AND RECREATION ROOM. 2. TO APPLY INCOME FOR (A) TOMBS IN THE CHURCH. (B) EXPEND $10 PER ANNUM IN PURCHASE OF COAL FOR POOR INHABITANTS. (C) MAINTAIN REPAIR AND INSURE THE READING AND RECREATION ROOMS. (D) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE POOR INHABITANTS. PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF WINKLEIGH WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS . FOR RELIEF IN NEED IN RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF WINKLEIGH WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS.
