Charitable objects
BENEFIT OF ALMSPEOPLE OF THE ALMHOUSES BELONGING TO THE CHARITY WHO SHALL BE NEED PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO (EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CASES TO BE APPROVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS) ARE RESIDENT IN THE ANCIENT PARISH OF ALRESFORD AT THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT. ONE OF THE ALMSPEOPLE SHALL BE A NEEDY WIDOW, AND THE REMAINING ALMSPEOPLE SHALL BE NEEDY MARRIED COUPLES, OR NEEDY SINGLE WOMEN OR WIDOWS OF NOT LESS THAN 60 YEARS OF AGE.
