The charity provides a Convalescent Home, situated in Bournemouth, where South Wales mining beneficiaries typically reside for blocks of one week at a time,in order to recuperate in a more favourable climate, and reminisce with other former mineworkers, their employment lives spent in the Industry. Mineworkers wives and widows are also eligible to visit the Home at discounted rates.
