THE CARE AND PROTECTION OF HORSES, PONIES AND DONKEYS (AND IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES OTHER ANIMALS) WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION EITHER BY REASON OF OLD AGE OR UNFITNESS TO WORK OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
