TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE EXTENSION IMPROVEMENT, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF BUILDINGS, PLANT, MACHINERY, FURNITURE, FITTINGS, WORKS OF ART, MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND OTHER EQUIPMENT OF OR FOR (A) ALMSHOUSES, PARISH CHURCHES, UNIVERSITIES AND PUBLIC ART GALLERIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND (B) BUILDINGS OF HISTORIC INTEREST AND BEAUTY, COLLEGES AND SCHOOLS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM WHICH ARE HELD ON CHARITABLE TRUSTS. TO APPLY THE PROPERTY AND INCOME OF THE CHARITY FOR OR TOWARDS SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AS THE COUNCIL OF MANAGEMENT OR GOVERNING BODY OF THE CHARITY SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE
