TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN A PUBLIC MEMORIAL HALL WHICH WILL BE USED FOR PROMOTING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN, THROUGH FOSTERING COMRADESHIP AND LOYALTY BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR REGIMENTAL RE-UNIONS AND OTHERWISE, IN MEMORY OF THOSE MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO HAVE SERVED THEIR COUNTRY, AND IN PARTICULAR TO THOSE WHO FELL IN THE WORLD WARS 1914-1918 AND 1939-1945.
