TO GRANT RELIEF, BY WAY OF ALLOWANCE OR OTHERWISE, AND EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, TO DESERVING AND NECESSITOUS MEMBERS OF THE TIMBER TRADES AND OTHER ASSOCIATED TRADES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, IN SUCH OF ITS BRANCHES AS THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER PROPERLY BELONG TO THE TIMBER TRADE, AND TO WIDOWS OR WIDOWERS, SURVIVING CIVIL PARTNERS, COHABITEES AND CHILDREN (WHICH SHALL INCLUDE STEP AND ADOPTED CHILDREN) OF SUCH MEMBERS.
