Charitable objects
(1) THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: (A) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF CHARITABLE SOCIAL HOUSING BEING ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION FOR BENEFICIARIES SUBJECT TO SUB-CLAUSE 4 (3) BELOW; AND (B) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE. (2) SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CLAUSE 5 (POWER TO DISPOSE OF AND REPLACE PURPOSE PROPERTY), THE LAND IDENTIFIED IN THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME MUST BE RETAINED BY THE TRUSTEE FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY. (3) THE TRUSTEE MUST RETAIN 33 OF THE CHARITY’S ACCOMMODATION UNITS FOR USE BY BENEFICIARIES WHO ARE SINGLE WOMEN AND MUST RETAIN 50 OF THE CHARITY’S ACCOMMODATION UNITS FOR BENEFICIARIES WHO ARE OVER 50 YEARS OF AGE.
