BENEFIT OF ALL PERSONS WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN PATIENTS (WHETHER IN-PATIENTS OR OUT-PATIENTS) OF ANY HOSPITAL IN THE SOUTHERN DERBYSHIRE HEALTH AUTHORITY (OR ANY HEALTH AUTHORITY FOR THE TIME BEING REPLACING THE SAME)IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS: (I) IN OR TOWARDS THE COST OF PROVIDING CONVALESCENT TREATMENT. (II) IN OR TOWARDS THE COST OF PROVIDING CARE FOR TERMINALLY ILL PERSONS. (III) IN RELIEVING NEED HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS AMONGST THOSE PERSONS HAVING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CARE OF FORMER PATIENTS AND ANY RELATIVES AND FRIENDS OF TERMINALLY ILL PATIENTS
