FOR THE BENEFIT OF EMPLOYEES AND FORMER EMPLOYEES OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY EXECUTIVE AND THEIR DEPENDENTS WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT, WITH A PREFERENCE FOR INSPECTORS, FORMER INSPECTORS AND THEIR ASSISTANTS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS. FOR OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES CONSISTENT WITH THOSE OF THE CIVIL SERVICE BENEVOLENT FUND.
