MAKING GRANTS TO EMPLOYEES, QUALIFIED EX-EMPLOYEES AND THEIR WIVES, CHILDREN AND OTHER DEPENDANTS WHO IN THE OPINION OF THE COMMITTE SHALL BE IN NEED OF OR DESERVING OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH A PREFERENCE BEING MAINTAINED FOR AN EMPLOYEE OR QUALIFED EX-EMPLOYEE OF THE COMPANY OR ANY WHOLLY OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF THE COMPANY OR A DEPENDANT OF ANY SUCH EMPLOYEE OR QUALIFIED EX-EMPLOYEE. FAILING SUCH THEN ON THE WINDING UP OF THE FUNDS THE PRINTERS PENSION ALMSHOUSE AND ORPHAN ASYLUM AND THE NEWPAPERS BENEVOLENT AND PROVIDENT INSTITUTION IN EQUAL SHARES.
