Charitable objects

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITIES ARE: (1) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY OF PERSONS IN THE MEDWAY UNITARY AUTHORITY AREA, OR WHO IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES HAVE A LOCAL CONNECTION WITH THE MEDWAY UNITARY AUTHORITY AREA BY THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF SOCIAL HOUSING IN THE FORM OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION; AND (2) THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE IN THE MEDWAY UNITARY AUTHORITY AREA WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES DETERMINE.
