ALMSHOUSES FOR POOR PEOPLE OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO ARE NOT LESS THAN 60 YEARS OF AGE AND WHO (EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CASES TO BE APPROVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS) ARE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND. PREFERENCE GIVEN TO PERSONS QUALIFIED AS AFORESAID WHO ARE RESIDENT AT THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT IN THE AREA OF THE ANCIENT PARISH OF CHISLEHURST.
