TO RELIEVE EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE VILLAGES OF WINTHORPE, LANGFORD AND HOLME, THE AREA OF BENEFIT, WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS AND TO SUPPORT CHARITABLE ENDEAVOURS BY ORGANIZATIONS OR INDIVIDUALS TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE ABOVE RESIDENTS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS.
