Charitable objects
THE INCOME SHALL BE APPLIED BY THE TRUSTEES, AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT: (A) PRIMARILY BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO YOUNG PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS BONA FIDE RESIDENT IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA, WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR POVERTY, SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PAYING FOR OR CONTRIBUTING TOWARDS THE COST OF GOODS, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, BOOKS, FEES, TRAVELLING EXPENSES, SERVICES OR FACILITIES: • TO ENABLE THEM TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES • TO ADVANCE THEIR EDUCATION (B) [SUBJECT TO (A) ABOVE] IN THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY, OF PEOPLE BONA FIDE RESIDENT IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PAYING FOR OR CONTRIBUTING TOWARDS THE COST OF ITEMS OR SERVICES (C) [SUBJECT TO (A) ABOVE] IN THE RELIEF OF THE SICK-POOR BONA FIDE RESIDING IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA, EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY, BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PAYING FOR OR CONTRIBUTING TOWARDS THE COST OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES OR SERVICES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES OR THE COST OF TRAVELLING TO HOSPITALS, CLINICS, DOCTORS’ SURGERIES OR SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS.”
