Charitable objects
TO IMPROVE AND FURTHER THE ADVANCEMENT OF AGRICULTURE BY THE PROMOTION OF ANNUAL PLOUGHING AND HEDGING COMPETITIONS OPEN TO THE UNITED KINGDOM. TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE BY THESE COMPETITIONS HIGHER STANDARDS OF PLOUGHING THE LAND, HEDGING AND DITCHING, AND GOOD HUSBANDRY. TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR PRACTICAL WORKING DEMONSTRATIONS OF NEW IMPLEMENTS AND FARM MACHINERY.
