Charitable objects
(A) FOR THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF CHIDDINGSTONE BY PROVIDING SUCH PERSONS WITH GOODS OR SERVICES; (B) FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF PHYSICAL AND/OR MENTAL HEALTH OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF CHIDDINGSTONE; (C) FOR THE RELIEF OF ELDERLY PEOPLE RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF CHIDDINGSTONE WHO ARE IN NEED BY PROVIDING ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES FOR THEIR HOMES CALCULATED TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE; (D) FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF CHIDDINGSTONE CHURCH OF ENGLAND SCHOOL OR CHIDDINGSTONE NURSERY SCHOOL CIO BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATION NOT REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY ANY RELEVANT LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY; OR (E) FOR THE PROVISION OF OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION IF SUCH FACILITIES ARE PROVIDED IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR THOSE RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF CHIDDINGSTONE, IN SUCH MANNER AS THE CHIDDINGSTONE COMMITTEE HEREINAFTER MENTIONED SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT, AFTER CONSULTING WITH ANY PERSON OR PERSONS AS THEY SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK APPROPRIATE.”
