Charitable objects
(1) TO MAINTAIN AND PROMOTE ESPRIT DE CORPS. (2) TO ASSIST, AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION IN OBTAINING EMPLOYMENT AND TO HEL WIDOWS AND CHILDREN (OF MEMBERS OF EX-MEMBERS OF THE SHERWOOD RANGERS YEOMANRY) WHO THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN, FIND THEMSELVES IN DISTRESSED CIRCUMSTANCES. (3) TO HELP, AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, NECESSITOUS CASES AMONG MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION, OR THEIR FAMILIES OR DEPENDANTS.
