1) PROVISION AND MAINTAINANCE OF ALMSHOUSES FOR POOR MARRIED COUPLES, WIDOWS OR SINGLE WOMEN OF NOT LESS THAN 55 YEARS OF AGE WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND WHO HAVE RESIDED IN THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISHES OF ST. MARY, BROADWATER, CHRIST CHURCH, WORTHING, ST. GEORGE, WORTHING AND ST. PAUL, WORTHING, IN THE COUNTY OF SUSSEX. 2) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ALMSPEOPLE.
