TO PROVIDE ALMHOUSES FOR POOR PERSONS WHO ARE NOT LESS THAN 50 YEARS OF AGE AND WHO (EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CASES TO BE APPROVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS) ARE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF THE ANCIENT PARISH AT THE TIME OF THEIR APPOINTMENT.
