THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE CLEAR INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN GIFTS IN KIND OR IN GRANTS OF PENSIONS OR IN SUCH OTHER WAY AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT FOR THE PURPOSE OF AIDING IN SICKNESS OR CONVALESCENCE PERSONS WHO HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED WHOLLY OR PARTIALLY IN THE CARE OF MENTALLY DISORDERED PERSONS, WHO OWING TO SICKNESS, ACCIDENT, OLD AGE OR OTHER INFIRMITY HAVE BEEN PREVENTED FROM CONTINUING IN SUCH EMPLOYMENT AND WHO ARE IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE.
