A CENTRE PRIMARILY FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE TEMPERANCE CAUSE AS A PLACE WHERE THE INHABITANTS OF TRURO AND OTHERS VISITING THE CITY MAY FIND ENTERTAINMENT AND ACCOMMODATION WITHOUT THE NECESSITY OF RESORTING TO A HOUSE LICENCED FOR THE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR.
