LAWS OF THE MISSION ADOPTED ON THE 28TH DECEMBER 1933, AS AMENDED 2 JULY 2008 AS AMENDED BY SCHEME DATED 10 AUG 2016
Charitable objects
(I) TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND RELIGION, AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE. (II) TO ASSIST IN OBTAINING EMPLOYMENT FOR THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING, AND TO PROVIDE AN INTERPRETER IN CASES OF DISPUTE OR MISUNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THEM AND THEIR EMPLOYERS. (III) TO VISIT THE SICK AND OTHERS IN THEIR HOMES, AND TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS.
