Charitable objects
1. PROVISION OF HOMES FOR THE USE OF AGED MINEWORKERS WHO HAVE ATTAINED THE AGE OF 65 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN IMMEDIATELY BEFORE CEASING WORK EMPLOYED IN OR ABOUT THE MINES OF THE CRAGHEAD AND HOLMSIDE COLLIERIES FOR NOT LESS THAN FIVE CONTINUOUS YEARS AND HAVE BEEN CONTRIBUTORS TO THE FUNDS OF THE SCHEME DURING SO MUCH OF SUCH TIME AS THIS SCHEME SHALL HAVE BEEN IN OPERATION. 2. PROVISION OF A HOSTEL FOR RESIDENTS QUALIFIED AS ABOVE.
