Charitable objects
TO PROVIDE ANNUITIES FOR NECESSITOUS PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER AND REPUTATION RESIDING IN THE CITY OF NOTTINGHAM OR WITHIN SUCH A DISTANCE THEREFROM NOT EXCEEDING TWENTY MILES FROM THE SITEOF THE BUILDING KNOWN AS "THE EXCHANGE" (NOW THE COUNCIL HOUSE) IN THE CITY OF NOTTINGHAM AS THE GOVERNORS SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
