Charitable objects
(1) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING SOCIAL HOUSING, IN THE FORM OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION, FOR PERSONS IN NEED OF SUCH ACCOMMODATION DUE TO AGE, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SICKNESS, POOR HEALTH AND/OR ANY OTHER ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCES, WHO (EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CASES TO BE DETERMINED BY THE TRUSTEES) ARE RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF CASTLE CAMPS, OR WHO HAVE DEMONSTRABLE CONNECTIONS WITH THE PARISH. (2) THE ALMSPEOPLE BEING PERSONS QUALIFIED AS AFORESAID SHALL BE SELECTED FROM THE FOLLOWING CLASSES OF PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER OF PRIORITY: (A) PERSONS WHO ARE AND HAVE FOR NOT LESS THAN THREE YEARS NEXT PRECEDING THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT BEEN BONE FIDE RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF CASTLE CAMPS AFORESAID (B) PERSONS WHO ARE AT THE DATE OF APPOINTMENT BONA FIDE RESIDENT IN THE SAID PARISH (C) PERSONS BORN BUT NOT RESIDENT IN THE SAID PARISH (D) PEOPLE WITH SOME OTHER VERIFIABLE CONNECTION WITH THE PARISH OF CASTLE CAMPS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO FAMILY, EDUCATION OR EMPLOYMENT EITHER OF THEMSELVES OR THEIR CHILDREN OR OTHER RELATIVES. (3) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF RESIDENTS AND FORMER RESIDENTS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
