PREFERENCE BEING GIVEN TO NATIVES OF KENDAL AND IN PARTICULAR TO MEMBERS OF THE CONGREGATIONS OF PROTESTANT NON-CONFORMIST CHAPELS IN KENDAL. SURPLUS INCOME TO PROVIDE PENSIONS TO ADDITIONAL PERSONS, MEDICAL ADVICE AND NURSING, MEDICINES AND COMFORTS IN CASE OF ILLNESS.
