TO GIVE FINANCIAL SUPPORT AT TIMES OF NEED TO PERSONS CONNECTED WITH THE HASTINGS FISHING TRADE AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION, RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CONDITIONS SO AS TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL, MORAL AND SPIRITUAL WELFARE OF THE SAID PERSONS SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED.
