Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE EDUCATION IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY: 1.1 AWARDING TO YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHERS SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT 'ANY UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OR INSTITUTION OF HIGHER OR FURTHER EDUCATION; 1.2 MEETING ADDITIONAL EDUCATIONAL EXPENSES FOR THOSE IN NEED, FOR EXAMPLE BY ASSISTING WITH THE COST OF PRIVATE TUITION IN MUSIC OR OTHER ARTS AND THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF AN INSTRUMENT, COMPUTER OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL TOOL; 1.3 PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT ANY PRIMARY SCHOOL WITHIN OR ATTENDED BY PUPILS FROM THE AREA OF BENEFIT; 1.4 THE SUPPORT BY GRANT-FUNDING 9F ANY OTHER EDUCATIONAL FACILITY OR EDUCATIONAL CHATITY OPERATING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; 2. TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG PEOPLE LIVING OR WORKING IN THE AREA' OF BENEFIT BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO PROVIDE ITEMS, SERVICES, TRAINING OR FACILITIES WHICH MIGHT OTHERWISE BE UNAFFORDABLE BY THEM; 3. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS; 4. TO RELIEVE THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL NEEDS OF ELDERLY RESIDENTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT BY PROVIDING SERVICES OR FACILITIES; 5. TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE CHURCHES IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN SUCH A MANNER AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT.
