TO RELIEVE IN CASES OF NEED PERSONS INJURED IN ANY MINING ACCIDENT OCCURING IN THE AREA OF THE COUNTIES OF CHESHIRE, CLEVELAND, CUMBRIA, DERBYSHIRE, DURHAM, GREATER MANCHESTER, HUMBERSIDE, MERSEYSIDE, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, NORTH YORKSHIRE, SOUTH YORKSHIRE AND WEST YORKSHIRE OR THE WIDOWS OR WIDOWERS OF PERSONS KILLED OR INJURED IN SUCH ACCIDENTS.
