DEED OF DECLARATION OF TRUST DATED 30 OCTOBER 1911

Charitable objects

(1) FOR THE RELIEF OF THE SUFFERERS OF THE 1910 EXPLOSION AT HULTON COLLIERY, GENERALLY AND IN SUCH WAY AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL THINK FIT. (2) FOR THE RELIEF OF ANY SUFFERERS IN ANY SIMILAR OR KINDRED ACCIDENT IN THE FUTURE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. (3) IF THE FUND HAS A SURPLUS OVER THE AMOUNT REQUIRED, IT MAY BE CONTRIBUTED TO ANY LOCAL OR NATIONAL FUND FOR THE BENEFIT OF MINERS, THEIR WIVES, CHILDREN AND DEPENDANTS.
