Charitable objects
FOR SUCH LEGALLY CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL THINK PROPER AND IN PARTICULAR WITHOUT RESTRICTING THRE GENERAL DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES, FOR THE ACQUISITION OF LAND BY THE NATIONAL TRUST OR FOR THE PROVISION AND UPKEEP OF YOUTH HOSTELS OR SPECIAL HOLIDAY CAMPS OR FOR ANY OBJECT CALCULATED TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO ENJOY THE BEAUTIES AND JOYS OF THE COUNTRYSIDE AND PRESERVE THE OPEN COUNTRY AND RURAL AMENITIES.
