TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF DEAF PERSONS OF ALL AGES AND OF ANY CREED OR ETHNIC GROUP WHO ARE RESIDENT EITHER PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY WITHIN THE AREA OF HUDDERSFIELD AND DISTRICT (KIRKLEES METROPOLITAN DISTRICT) IN ANY MANNER WHICH IS DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE.
